UCSC–IIT Summer Research Symposium

UC Santa Cruz will host a research symposium with the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur in July 2024 to facilitate research collaborations between our universities and to expand these partnerships. We anticipate 15 faculty from each of the participating IITs for a total of approximately 30 colleagues from our Indian partner institutions.

The inaugural 2024 symposium will cover Baskin Engineering research topics focusing on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Cybersecurity – priority areas highlighted by President Biden and Prime Minister Modi.

Program

The program will feature faculty from each of our institutions who are doing cutting-edge research in the topic areas, industry leaders from Silicon Valley, and graduate students who are emerging as future leaders in these fields.
