Faculty Travelers
Faculty traveling on university business this summer are reminded that they must register their trip through UC Away before departing. The UCSC Risk Services Travel and Insurance Resources web page provides information about registering for travel and travelers insurance.
Student Travelers
Faculty traveling with students are asked to complete the Traveler Information form before booking their travel and other arrangements. This form solicits additional itinerary information for individual student travelers or students traveling in a group with a faculty member so that UC Santa Cruz can provide support, especially during travel to high-risk areas. Travel should be registered as soon as travel plans are made.

Reminder – UC Campuses Travel Advisory
The University of California Office of the President has issued a travel advisory for all UC campuses, effective October 20, 2023, regarding travel to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Due to escalating security risks from increased civil unrest and violence in the MENA region, the UC Office of the President strongly advises that all university-related travel to this area be limited to essential travel only. Read More.
