Representatives from UC Santa Cruz and Rikkyo University (Tokyo, Japan) met with UC Santa Cruz faculty on October 31 to establish a Global Exchange program.

The partnership between UC Santa Cruz and Rikkyo University began with former Chancellor Blumenthal’s visit to Tokyo in the Summer of 2018. The agreement comes as a result of the Division of Global Engagement’s ongoing efforts to facilitate the internationalization of the teaching, learning, and research for UC Santa Cruz students and scholars at top institutions around the world UC Santa Cruz and Rikkyo University aim to begin exchanging their first groups of students in fall 2020.
