UCSC students, finalists in APRU Quarantunes Competition

UC Santa Cruz students join other Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU)-member campuses as finalists in an inspirational music-making competition.

The Quarantunes musical competition brings students together during the COVID-19 pandemic in a unique way, offering inspiration and mutual support to one another.

Over 100 teams have submitted musical arrangements, competing for a first-place prize of $5000. Submissions are narrowed down based on musical arrangement, technical proficiency, originality, video and/or audio quality, and concept and message.

Campus communities are encouraged to vote for their favorite entry by using the Quarantunes voting form and like entries on APRU’s Facebook page.

UC Santa Cuz has recently become a member of APRU, allowing opportunities for collaboration with 51 leading universities in the region.
