Beginning on October 19, 2020, the premium processing fee for forms I-129 and I-140 will increase to $2,500 (from $1,440).
This affects requests for premium processing on all applications for H-1B, O-1 and Permanent Residence filed by the campus.
Premium Processing Service provides expedited processing for certain employment-based petitions and applications. Specifically, USCIS guarantees 15 calendar day processing to those petitioners or applicants who choose to use this service or USCIS will refund the Premium Processing Service fee. The premium processing fee is paid in addition to the base filing fee and any other applicable fees.
Please keep the new fee in mind when budgeting for immigration applications and when requesting checks related to these applications. All other filing fees remain the same at this time.
