UC Santa Cruz, along with 10 other universities across the U.S., participated in the 16th cohort of the American Council on Education’s (ACE) Internationalization Laboratory, a guided and collaborative strategic planning process that took place over a two-year period (August 2018 – July 2020). This campus internationalization effort aimed to better prepare UC Santa Cruz undergraduate and graduate students to meaningfully engage in an increasingly interconnected world.
Working closely with advisors from ACE, participating institutions assemble an internationalization steering committee on their campuses, comprehensively review and analyze their current internationalization activities, then articulate institutional goals and formulate a strategic action plan to carry their internationalization efforts forward.
