Fulbright Canada
The Canada-U.S. Fulbright Program operates on the principle of reciprocal exchange and provides the opportunity for outstanding American scholars to lecture and/or conduct research in Canada. Award recipients include prominent and promising scholars, as well as experienced professionals.

Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program
The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program offers over 500 teaching, research, or combination teaching/research awards in over 125 countries.
Although the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program is open to both academics and professionals, approximately 80 percent of available awards require a Ph.D. or terminal degree. Only U.S. citizens are eligible to apply for a grant through the program.

German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)
DAAD works to foster connections between scholars and institutions in North America and their counterparts in Germany by offering a number of programs to strengthen the links between academics in Germany and North America. These programs support both the activities of individual scholars and post-secondary institutions seeking to strengthen their international ties.
Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS)
The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), or Gakushin for short, is an independent administrative institution, established by way of a national law for the purpose of contributing to the advancement of science in all fields of the natural and social sciences and the humanities. JSPS offers a wide spectrum of funding opportunities for people at all stages of their academic careers: students, researchers, post-docs, and faculty.
NGI Enrichers Program
The Next Generation Internet Transatlantic Fellowship Program, or NGI Enrichers, provides an opportunity to host researchers and innovators from the European Union and associated countries at UC Santa Cruz.
