HIGHLIGHTS

I am pleased to present the UC Santa Cruz 2024-2025 Global Review, which reflects our ongoing campus commitment to internationalization.
As a university rooted in innovation and collaboration, UC Santa Cruz continues to extend its reach across borders, forging new pathways for research, learning, and cultural exchange. This year, I am especially proud of several key initiatives:
- Our progress toward a dual-degree program with the University of Indonesia represents important partnership advancements.
- Growth in faculty research collaboration and student mobility funding, supported by UC Alianza MX awards.
- The launch of the Global Entrepreneurship Program (GEn) and the continued success of our International Summer Research Program (ISRP).
- The success of our long-running Global Seminar focused on printmaking in Korea.
- International student programming efforts to encourage intercultural learning and build community.
These are just a few highlights of a productive year that also includes a range of international programming and support services for international students, faculty, and scholars.
As we look to the future, we remain committed to fostering a university that reflects the richness and diversity of the broader global community.
