What is Lunar New Year?

Lunar New Year (LNY) is a celebration observed in many East Asian countries and communities across the globe. It marks the beginning of the calendar year with the first new moon of the lunarsolar calendar and lasts 16 days. Since the lunar calendar is based on lunar cycles, the date varies from year to year.

Spring Festival Gala

Hosted by the Chinese Student Union (CSU) and Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA)

Come experience a special themed dinner celebrating the new year. Entrees will include Asian Pork Spare Ribs, BBQ Tofu, General Tso’s Chicken, and more.

An on-campus meal plan is required for entry. Those without a meal plan can pay for entry by using the GET App.
