International Student Orientation

We are excited that you have chosen UC Santa Cruz and look forward to meeting you at orientation.

The International Student Orientation program is designed to help you get to know each other, learn more about the campus, and ease your transition to UC Santa Cruz. During orientation, you will meet staff from International Student & Scholar Services, Global Programming, and around campus who are here to support your studies at UC Santa Cruz.

You will also get to know our fantastic team of Global Leaders. Like you, many of our Global Leaders are international students themselves or have the experience of studying abroad. You will see them around campus wearing their gold Global Leader T-shirts. If you ever have a question, feel free to ask one of them for help.

Students in F-1 or J-1 status should register for International Student Orientation through iGlobal (Frosh, Parent, and/or Exchange & Transfer, as appropriate). You will receive an email at the address you used when you applied for admission to UC Santa Cruz, which will provide further instructions on how to access iGlobal.
