Exchange & Transfer Orientation


International Student Orientation is an orientation program designed for international students through the Division of Global Engagement, which is home to International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) and Global Programming. All incoming exchange and transfer students should attend the International Student Orientation. Transfer students will also need to attend the "Transfer Student Resources" session. The fee for international student orientation has been waived.

Students in F-1 or J-1 status will receive an email from Global Programming to register for International Student Orientation. The email will be sent to the address used by the student when applying for admission to UC Santa Cruz, and will provide instructions for the Zoom webinar links.

Additionally, please complete the iGlobal Pre-Arrival Orientation online as soon as possible to request your I-20/DS-2019 form and to prepare for your arrival to Santa Cruz. Note: Fees for International Student Orientation 2020 has been waived.
