INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ORIENTATION

GRADUATE PREPARATION PROGRAM
A four-week non-credit course focusing on English for Academic Purposes (EAP), academic skills, and cultural orientation.
INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION WEEK
Celebrating and promoting the benefits of international education and exchange.
GLOBAL MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
Pairs new international students (mentees) with trained Global Mentors (GM).

International Student Services and Programs (ISSP) designs and facilitates orientation programs, events, and activities for international undergraduates, graduate students, and scholars to foster increased intercultural learning, to build community, and to support cultural adjustment. ISSP also assists with pre-departure orientations and re-entry programming for study abroad or away students, administers a mentorship program for first-year international students that serve as leadership development for the mentors, and offers international/intercultural events open to all, such as programming during International Education Week.
